That cone filter is made by Airaid in Phoenix, AZ. it is the smallest cone filter they make (6" i think). They wont sell you direct but wil put you in touch with a dealer. I had to make an adaptor bracket.
several of the fiat supply houses carry K&N.

That filter looks just like the ones we use on our gokart engines, except ours are a tad smaller.

Here is the coupe in its current trim. We continue to try to improve the HP, and are adding a custom made TB manifold that we have worked with Mark to develop and get just right. It tilts the TBs away from the engine by 22.5 degrees, which straightens out the intake runners quite a bit which we hope will improve flow velocity. It also gives us more room to fit the injectors between the cam tower and the fuel rail. We have also altered the shape of the air box by smoothing out all inside edges, and we are improving the exhaust system by eliminating some "ledges" in the fitment between the header and downpipe (the header is Mark's, the down pipe is custom), and adding custom, 3", hi-flow, baffled exhaust tips. Other improvements are a new throttle linkage to ensure accurracy and consistency in the throttle plate movement, and we have moved the ignition towers forward of the exhaust header and out of the corner where all the hot air was trapped. Have installed a reduction starter, and a 130 amp alternator (the 95 amp I had on the coupe is going on the spider). We'll be putting some gentle miles on it for the next few weeks, and then it will be back to the dyno to re-do the fuel map and see if we get more than the 150.5 we have in its current trim. Will keep you posted.

You Aussies always do such a great job of keeping everything neat and tidy in the engine bay!

Paul, where do you get those straps / clamps that fasten the lines and hoses to the firewall, fenderwells, and elsewhere?

Yes, they are painted. My son thinks it looks aweful. I painted them yellow to match the wires and dip stick. Just a touch of color without going overboard. Paint is same engine paint that I use on the motor. Cam gears are from Miller, the only thing I didnt like about them was that the ones I received were pretty worn in the teeth compared to the cores I sent in. I was going to ask if he would wap them out for me if I sent him good cores again. i just never got around to contacting him. I tried to get as little paint on the teeth as possible figuring it was going to wear off anyway. The paint made the center piece a very tight fit when reassembling the gear.
