Either I can't come up with the key words for the search or there is some confusion.
Is the crankshaft nut on my 79 2000 "Lefty Loosey" and "Righty Tighty"? In a nutshell is it a normal or reverse thread.
Thanks,
jb

I sat out there grunting on that nut for 10 minutes this evening.... I even put a little heat to it, hoping to break-down any loctite that may have ben used.... to no avail.
It never ccurred to me to bust out the impact. (I hate using my air-tools.... )
I'll try this tomorrow... or in a week.... or a month.... whenever my family lets me back into the garage....

I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!
