some of the Weber models have the throttle plates in a base rather than in the carb body. If you swap a 32/36 for one of those carbs the studs are too long. Besides, raising the carb is good for torque

Well I just removed the studs. If it's good for torque then I am getting me a spacer or 3! lol

Well I've got the carb. I can figure out the connections but the accelerator linkage has be a bit baffled. I read on this forum that I can pull the "sickle" with the ball stud off the old carb and put on the new 32/36 and get the nut back on. Can you get ball stud and put on the 32/36 2x90 degree "arm".
