Re: Hello All
HI Glenn,
You must be handy. Lots of welding.
Where are you located? How about a picture.
We need a "before" to appriciate the "after".

Re: Hello All
Hi Doug, I'm in Ontairo Canada so the winters are long.It took two weeks to weld the floor and a rear inner and outer fender.
Two sub frame rails. Now to start the body. Lots of fun.It will keep me out of trouble this winter.

Re: Hello All
Hello Glen, and welcome. We've seen several posts over the years asking for assistance in "substantial" body repairs such as you're doing. If you could record the hours required, tips you learned the easy or the hard way, maybe some photos, I'm sure they'd be appreciated. Have you done this sort of thing before? Professionally?
Re: Hello All
Hi,On all projects like the fiat spider you really don't know what your in for until you start opening her up.I've never done a fiat before. It should be fun. I'll keep track of my hours I have pictures I'm trying to learn how to down load them to your site.
I've tryed to use Photo Bucket but I'm doing something wrong, But I'll keep trying.

Hello fellow Ontarian,
Like you I just picked-up a Spider ('71) with the intent of it being for my wife. I am amazed by how quickly you are getting into the repairs, and a little inspired too. Please share more details and pics as you go. Where are you getting your sheet metal repair panels from?
For posting pictures I found this thread very helpful: http://fiatspider.com/f08/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=686
Happy Restoring!

Re: Hello All
Hi Baltoberme, Yes I've been restoring cars for 27 years but never ventured in Fiats. Mostly North American products. You just have to rap your mind in to the way the car is designed and a way you go. The only problem I'm having is down loading
pictures. I'm on bucket photo and the pictures are there. Just cann't down load them to the Fiat site.
Regards Glenn.

Welcome to the forum! We like pics, so here's how you do it. In Photobucket, right click the picture, go to properties and copy the URL address. Then click on the Img button on your post and paste the url address between the brackets:
make sure your cursor is positioned at the end of the last img bracket and preview to make sure it worked.

Re: Hello All
And it helps if the image is sized so its not too big to fit on the forum format. Photobucket has a re-sizing tool, and you can also re-size in Paint program, or in MS picture manager.
