1980 Spider 2000 Carb..... Have been replacing brake lines and calipers, plugs, hoses and belts for the past few months.
ready to fire the little guy up but I have a few concerns. The gas may be a year or so old. Any harm(or chance of blowing up the garage) in trying to turn it over?
Not sure if I want to get into dropping the tank and getting it cleaned, even though I know this is probably the best thing to do.
I am a very impatient man. Anyone in N.E Pennsylvania looking to be a Fiat mechanic mentor? LOL
Ready to fire it up !?!

Gas should still be ok if it was in a sealed system. Give it the smell test and you can always mix in some fresh gas to be safe. I would triple check your timing belt marks if you changed that and be sure all your nuts and bolts were tighten back down. A new fuel filter is also a good practice. Then fire away.
