When I bought my 79 a year ago, the air pump had already been removed; it was long gone, and portions of the original archaic emissions system had been removed. Having known nothing about Fiats, or cars for that matter, I removed the rest of the emissions hoses and parts. This could have been very foolish because I now have no record of which hoses attached where (they are not visible in the pictures I took) and I've got a fuel leak from the carb that started up this year. I rebuilt the carb over the summer but that just seemed to exacerbate the leak! On the side of the carb opposite the firewall are two small caps with nozzles where hoses of some kind could attach. Does anyone know what was originally supposed to be attached here, or what I can do to solve the gas leak problem stemming from those two little pieces? I've read that those two parts were not present on any other carb other than the 28/32...

if you have fuel leaking from those parts, you have a problem with float level. Either the float is way too high, the float is sinking or the needle valve is leaking

Thanks! I actually adjusted the float level right after that but didn't get the chance to test if it leaked after... Hopefully it will fix the problem!
