Hello everyone!
Just checking in as a new member. Proud owner of a 1981 Spider 2000. Purchased new - still think it is the most fun car there is to drive!
Me & my car have lived in Canada, California and now Connecticut. Look forward to speaking with you all - especially about the new tires I will need to invest in soon...

Re: Hello
Welcome HFK,
Glad to have another "Spider from birth" member on the board. The rest of us have adopted these cars and are getting to know their personalities.

Re: Hello
Thanks everyone for the welcome! I am a happy happy camper - I had a wonderful adventure on the weekend. I had arranged to tow my Fiat from Toronto to southern CT and was looking forward to the adventure. Unfortunately the tongue weight was too much for the suspension of the other vehicle, SO, I decided to just jump into my little sportster & drive. 525 miles later I arrived with a huge grin on my face and a car runnning better than ever!
I LOVE MY CAR
Can't figure out how to post pictures...?

Re: Hello
Sounds like you had a great Fiat weekend. I also got to enjoy one of my Italian beauties for close to 700 miles. I took the X19 to Atlanta for Italian Car Day, then drove up to the north GA mountains to enjoy the scenery, then a 4 hour trip home. I didn't want the weekend to end!

Hello and Welcome! Size your pictures to 640 x 280 pixels. The Search tool is a friendly, powerful tool of this Forum, where you can find tips on this topic, tires, and just about everything Fiat-related.
There seem to be many Spider owners up and down the East Coast. I hope you get the opportunity to meet some of them in your new home. A recent national get-together was held in the Pocono mountains of eastern PA.
