Bought a Fiat/new member

Howdy Fiat People! I bought a 1978 124 Spider in need of some TLC. $800.00,complete, with some rust, bad shocks, tires, stranglehold exhaust and issues under the hood from a 2 liter engine swap. But...... it's straight, interior is in very good shape, top is ok and almost everything works. I've fixed the exhaust, new tires and shocks, and made some adjustments under the hood. It runs pretty darn good, handles great and is really nice driving around with the top down. I think it's very easy to work on and the Italians did a nice job of a simple - works - power plant. Most of my transportation is motorcycles, hence the user name. I own/ride a couple of Moto Guzzis' and have owned other Italian bikes in the past. I like Itailian road machinery. I live in Muskegon, Mi.

Welcome to the forum! You'll find several Fiat owners also have a love for bikes. Please post pics of your new ride when you have a chance.

Welcome to Spidy world.

Out of the 4 vehicles in our garage three are Italian. Two cars and one Guzzie. My HD is the holdout.

Howdy! Buell rider here, but I have my eye out for an older Cali, for better 2-up cruising. Yes, post pix of the two and four-wheeled rides!

Welcome from another lover of hot Italian ladies. In my case that includes a `77 Spider, two Ducatis, and (best off all!) an Italian wife. :)

Italian motorcycles. An Italian car. An Italian wife. What more could a man desire?
