Fiat fixer in Nashvegas TN

Post by scampbel98 »

Hi there,
We've had a 1980 Fiat for going on 2 years now. Bought it off eBay in California. Thought it was a 2L, generally in good shape. It's been a great driver that we've put lots of mods in. Lots of trim bits, new top, new ANSA exhaust, test pipe, 1800 intake and DFEV added to replace the POC that was in it. REcently did a clutch and right now in the midst of engine rebuild. Turns out it's actually an 79 era 1756 block and crank with 79 Brava class carbed head (EGR blocked via factory). Always ran OK, but never great. Always felt like there should be more top end above 85mph. with the new VAS HC pistons and overbore .8mm, hoping so.

Stereo upgrade, custom subwoofer fab in trunk, brown wire, new A-arm bushings, new shocks...
What a fun car!

Curious if anyother Nashvegas Fiat owners (we've seen one just like ours), but haven't seen club or gatherings.
Also look for a cheap 1756 oil pan...
