Racing a 124 Spider and want to replace the shifter. MAC Autosports suggest I get in contact with Curly in Austrailia. Would like to purchase said shifter. Vintage Racer

G'day Lsporney, I'm not sure that I understand exactly what you are after? I have been able to help supply the 'Abarth' remote shifter (copied and made by Fiat for late model 131s) for early Fiat 131 gearboxes that were fitted to a couple of 'racing' Spiders in the U.S., but they are different to the normal 124 gearboxes.

There is also the Michigan Short Shifter available from Mike Bouse who is a member on this forum. This replaces the existing shift lever with a much shorter stub that is fitted to the remote shifter on the existing transmission.

Many have bought them and are very happy with them. They do allow more vibration to be felt as it is rigidly mounted versus the rubber mounts in the existing shift lever.
