Re: switching to 34/36 dfev weber carb
I looked at the schematic on the Weber Carbs Direct site, and saw only one tube. If yours has another of the same diameter on the same part of the carb, it is either a vent or a return. It is most likely a return, and I would recommend attaching it to the OE fuel return line. Webers are very sensitive to fuel pressure, and if you eliminate the return, you'd probably want to install a regulator.
Caution: Have somebody with a fire extinguisher observe the engine compartment for leaks and/or incorrect installation when first starting up.
Regarding the other hoses; there can be lots of them, depending on model year of the car and previous modifications. Photos will help us.

i dont think its a return..its not even close to the fuel inlet ...lets say its not a return and i had to block the return pipe...is it bad??...would an electric fuel pump help regulate fuel pressure??
Re: switching to 34/36 dfev weber carb
I assume you have a 32/36 DFEV. There are only two ports which need to be connected. One is the fuel inlet on top and the other is an inlet on the bottom which requires you to hook up the hose which comes from the distributor advance. Theres no fuel return port on this carb so you have to block off the fuel return line in the engine compartment. If your old carb had a idle solenoid cutoff switch then reuse the wire and hook it up to the electric choke terminal.

Would iIt be a problem bocking the return?? And am not sure where z that other pipe that is coming from the dist. Advance

it would be best if you could post pics of your carb, then we can be sure of the suggestions for connections

ohh...am so sorry the carb is a 32/36 dfev .. and i checked i dont have a vacuum advance on my distributer..what in this case....
Re: switching to 34/36 dfev weber carb
without a vacuum advance you only need to connect your ported vacuum hose to the air cleaner breather tee
