Hi Tom,
Welcome to the club. I am a member of the Chicago chaper of the FLU. Its a great club with great members. Here is the web site. I am kind of an outsider since my car is a work in progress so I miss a lot of the gatherings, but they welcome me like a memeber of the family regardless. I would suggest becoming an official FLU member for all the benefits, but you can even join the meetup page and have access to the message board where all the local activities are posted.
