Fan Belt Chirping

Howdy,

I have a noise coming from the fan belt. It sounds like a bird chirping. Is my belt too loose or too tight or is it a bad bearing?

moren likely it is the alternator or the water pump.

small noise, or very annoying big noise?

suggest you just keep an ear out for changes in the volume or frequency.

I had this problem with my nissan truck turned out to be a leeky exaust manifold. it is like driving a bird

I'm pretty certain the sound is related to the fan belt spinning. After the warms up a bit, the bird chirping noise starts.
