Good morning.
I have just discovered that I have a bent lower trailing arm on my 1981 Spider. My question is: should I replace both lower trailing arms or can I get by just replacing the bent one? I have limited experience with suspension and figured I should ask the questions to the experts. The car tracks straight and true, so I figure I have caught it in time to avoid any excessive wear to the brand new tires. Thanks for your help.

Re: rear trailing arms
I would do both arms, that way you have new rubber on each side. To answer your next question: Can i just get new rubber bushings for the old side? No. It seems that no one make the rubber bushing for the later arms, only for the older style arms.

Thanks for the response. I will replace both trailing arms. Great to have a forum where you can go to get answers.
