1979 Fiat spider 2000 with candy apple red paint

Greeting all Fiat Class. I have owned my spider for about seven years, and finally was putting the finishing touches to the restoration. I had been driving it for the first time this June, (a month ago), and on a friday afternoon, someone reversed hard into me. So long story short, my candy job has to be redone. The body shop gave me a price of $7800 to get the car back to the same shape before the accident. So here I am once again looking through blogs instead of having fun under the chicago sun. I have pics, ............. I will fix the car and Im looking for some parts so if you have any please let me know. Im in Chicago Ill 60647. Looking for: 1979 Big bubble hood, crome grill frame, bottom piece that is under the grill where the front spoiler gets attached too, front passenger fender, and some bumperettes. And if anyone in the chicago land area would like to repaint the car candy apple red, please let me know... Thanks and any parts would be appreciated.

What a bummer. Hope you get your car back on the road quickly. Do you know about the Chicagoland Fiat chapter http://www.chicagolandflu.com/ of FLU? Those boys could problably help you get the parts you need. Also, you may want to check Midwest Bayless and Midwest 124, both in the Columbus, OH area.

Welcome to the forum. Man, after working on your car and then having that happen is a major heartbreaker. Good luck getting it back in shape again, we're rooting for you.
