hello from the cold

Post by verycoldfiat »

just signed up, i'm from winnipeg Manitoba up in Canada, my poor 78 spyder is currently trapped under about 3 feet of snow in the back yard, however as i'm sure you all know it's worth it even for a couple of months a year, i was wondering if there is anyone else from canada and where about's.

welcome, sorry I'm not from Canada but there seems to be several members from up north that post regularly. They may all be hibernating though!

Hibernating . . . yes you could call it that. I am in Saskatoon where is is finally warming up a little bit. The 30 degree F weather we had yesterday felt like tee shirt weather.
Very Cold Fiat, welcome onboard. My spider is tucked away for the winter as well, just not covered in three feet of snow. I will probably take it out when all the snow is gone - hopefully in April. You will find lots of great info on this site and answers to questions are very quick. Hope you have as much fun with your fiat as I am.

Regards,

Carl

I find that new parts in Canada are scarce and expensive. I have had good luck with http://www.fiatparts.com/ and http://www.international-auto.com/ They are fast and helpful, and have good online catalogues.
