hello from british columbia, canada

Post by jwitzel »

1981 fiat spider. new to me. like driving, not so good at mechanics, but learning to keep things together anyways...

already used the forums for finding out i (re)placed my thermostat in backwards...
a lot easier to search 'i did it wrong' than 'how do i do it' it seems...

anyway - nice forum. glad it exists.
next challenge is to get some summer tires that fit ... or modify things so that more tires fit...
jason.

Hi Jason, welcome to the forum. This is a great place for help in solving issues that crop up time to time  with these cars.
Where abouts are you in this Province?
Several are on the island and in Vancouver and I'm near Penticton.
Hope to see you on the road someday. I'll be through Van on friday & Sunday

Jason - I can certainly echo Chris' comments. I've gotten a tremendous amount of help on the forum. It's also great to hear of another Fiat on the West Coast.

Oyama?
Were you at the car show in Peachland on the May long weekend? I saw a silver spider parked on the side of the road.

hello
here's another old guy in OK Falls BC with an 1980 brown carb model. I'm an old aircraft engine tech back in the day, am now retired and playing with the yard and the FIAT

Hi Ronz, Hmmm. yard and fiat? not fiat and yard
There's another spider at the Pine Bluffs in Galagers Lake. Let me know if you need any bits and pieces,I seem to have collected a few things.
