From a thread about an Australian meet. I was thinking CD66s, but I imagine the CD66s wouldn't actually fit within the arches of a stock Coupe (as they are 7x13, ET10). These also look bigger than 13".

Didn't someone just have a set of those for sale within a month or two?

lots of offset, they're a little hard on the front wheel bearings

What? Lots of offset, I don't think so!
Ted
That ET on a 7" rim puts the wheel dam near the ceterling of the tire.(7x13, ET10).

I love deep dish. I'd take it any day over that ugly pushed in the wheel well too far look. As to not thread hijack. I haven't seen that style before. Probably not available in the US of A.

Re: Name those wheels
Am I mistaken, or isn't this a reference to something other than those in the photo, which I agree look bigger than 13 inch. These (in the photo) could be a big offset, perhaps, as Mark suggests?(7x13, ET10). These also look bigger than 13".
If I understand correctly, anything larger than a 30mm offset is going to put the wheels outside of the center of the two bearings? So how much outside is too much? Mark? And doesn't it also start to affect geometry?

Re: Name those wheels
Sorry to be unclear. Cromodora CD66s (and replicas) are 7x13, ET10. The ones in the picture have a similar style, but the apparent dimensions - judging by the picture - don't fit the original CD66 specs, so I'm wondering what these wheels are.
Stock wheels are 5 x 13, ET 27 I believe. The probably puts the wheel centerline somewhere over the outer bearing, I guess. However, with wider wheels, sitcky rubber etc. etc. there is a lot more contributing to suspension loading than just the ET and relative position of the wheel centreline. I will let an expert comment further. But I agree that an 7" wide wheel with ET 10 seems like a big load on the bearings...
I don't think the ones in the image have such a low offset.

Re: Name those wheels
The wheels on the yellow BC Coupe look like a 15 x 7 version of one of the 'industrial' wheel designs made by Performance Wheels in South Australia. We have a set on a box trailer at work, the finish on their Industrial wheels isn't as good as on their normal aftermarket wheels.

They are very similar in design to the Cromodora CD66

Re: Name those wheels
Perfect. Thank you. I also noticed that their "Challenger" is similar to a Daytona (if you squint).
Personally, I like a wheel with a rough finish... looks more period correct.

Re: Name those wheels
Like em allot! They do look similar to the ones on the Performance Wheels site but not exact. I like the ones on the coupe better. I guess I'll just save the pic for future referrence until I can find out where to get me a set .
