Weber 32/36 DGAV-33B

Post by kwil »

I have a 1979 Spider
I bought this carb rebuilt. I know that I'm going to have to modify the throttle linkage and I have that figured out.
My question is can get a 3/4" spacer anywhere or can I stack (3) 1/4" spacers. See photos.
Next question. I need a complete set of rubber hoses for the radiator system.
And finally, I know this question has probably been asked a hundred times or more but where can I find the
braided hoses for fuel lines.

Thanks a lot

Marks sells the braided brake lines. You should be able to get all the rubber hoses you need form IAP. As for the space, I would find someone with a CnC machine and pay them to make one. it should be pretty simple.

you can stack spacers. Use gaskets between each one. If the spacers aren't metal, be careful not to overtighten the nuts

Got my spacers!! That'll work.
Does anyone have a diagram that would show me how to connect my new 1800cc manifold and my new carb to the 1979 spider?
There are quite a few connection points and I want to make sure I get this right!!

Thanks
