KYB GR-2

Post by Zmatt »

Pulled the suspension off the parts car today, front driver's side has this shock installed, but passenger's side is oem. Can anyone tell me about this shock, never heard of the company. Is it as good as the Konis I have?

They are a Japanese company that makes a fine shock. The GR2 is the preferred shock of theirs and perform just great. Under $30, so they are not Konis, but a very nice shock none the less. Lots of people on this forum have these.

They are a budget shock, but do work well. Less than CAD140.00 including tax for the 4 I just installed on my car, I couldn't justify the added expense of the Koni's. The road surfaces are pretty rough around here, I need all the help in getting as 'soft' a ride as I can.
