reassembly need torque #'s

Post by boxdogracing »

Hi new to forum I'am going to put my 83 2.0 motor back together this week, but I misplaced my shop manual. What are the torque #'s for the head, rods, and main bearing caps. Also I was planing to torque using a light coat of clean engine oil is this correct?

HEAD BOLTS 8.5 mkg 61.5 ft-lbs
CONNECTING RODS 7.5 mkg 54 ft-lbs
main bearing caps
nine large bolts 11.5 mkg 83 ft-lbs
one small bolt (front cap) 59 ft-lbs

yes I would oil them all.
