Hey Everyone!
I've been on this great site for quite awhile-about time I register! I'm from Pembroke Pines, Florida-original owner of a 1981 Fiat Spider 2000 LE #542. I purchased this right off the showroom floor in Hollywood, Florida and she is still a beauty! I plan on attending the FFO next month in Asheville, NC with my son. Look forward to meeting some of you there!!

Welcome! How old is your son? It's never to soon to get the kids involved with these awesome little cars. Of course, there's a downside to it too. Mine are waiting for me to kick the bucket so they can call my cars their own.

Thank you!
Son is 15, has his driving permit. Drove the Fiat twice-first attempt no problem, very comfortable with the clutch. Second time stalled and not so smooth. I threaten him (joking) every so often to take him out of the will and give the car to his older sister! I'll post some photos soon!!

Kids nowadays don't think there's a need to drive a manual transmission, but all my girls have to learn before we let them get their license. They'll thank me one day as they're driving off in my Fiats.
