Hello Fiat Enthusiast,

I last drove my car in 1993. It has been sitting on blocks in storage ever since the day that I drove it and the Clutch gave out. Now, with time I’m sure there are going to be more items to check. The engine was running great; the car cruised at 70 mph, I had just put on a new convertible top myself, and brake problems fixed…..any who, I’m back to square 1. The Great thing about the Fiat Spider is that it’s an easy car to work on. This car is Maroon in the day, but looks Brown at night with a Beige Top and Beige interior. I can not find the keys; I have been looking for them for years….1978 Fiat Spider 124.

Regards,

Welcome back to the land of Fiats! :D Marc where in the Detroit area are you? Lots of us in that area now.

I would say your keys are in the ash tray or the glove box, but others like to lock them in the trunk. LOL

Keep us posted.

I live in Southfield, Telegraph & 9 mile. Construction 8 - 12 Mile Rd. I went and looked at my Fiat the other day. It sounds pretty solid. There was some rust on the back fenders, but I had planned to add Fender Flares. Next, I'll check the shock absorbers under body to make sure they are solid, if so, then I'll buy some tires and begin the process.
