Hi from Western NY
Just purchased our first Spider ('77) for our daughters first car. Still have 1-1/2 years to work on it though its not in bad shape! Gonna be fun!

Welcome aboard! Get your daughter involved while you are working on it. Be good for both of you. Get her to join the forum too. If she's going to drive it, she ought to learn as much as she can, because (to steal a line) "It's not just a car - It's an adventure!"

You'd better keep your eyes open for another Spider for your daughter. If you're driving it for the next 1-1/2 years, you'll be hooked big time.
