reputable electric fuel pump

Post by wbsterritt »

I need to buy a replacement electric fuel pump for my '83 Pininfarina Azzura. I'm seeing replacements on line from $300+ down to $50! What should I be looking for as far as reputable/reliable /cost effective solutions? Are there certain manufacturers or vendors that I should stay away from? Any and all imput is greatly appreciated in advance!

I replaced my fuel pump with an Airtex unit from Auto Zone. $100; been on the car for over year now; no issues yet.

I also installed the Airtex last fall, so far so good. I believe the part# is E2182.
