Finally got a transmission. Had to go through a vendor but can't wait to be back on the road. Going to spend the weekend dropping the old one. New one arrives Monday. Can't wait!!!!

There are several vendors out there. Matt at Midwest bayless has the best price at 950.00 no core charge. Vick auto is where I ended up getting mine. cost 1250.00 with a 250 core charge. shipping was only 32.00 Both give you a 12 month 12k miles warranty. Mid west bayless was really busy and after 5 weeks of waiting I decided to go with Vick's because they had some on the shelf ready to go. I got impatient and should of waited. But I had the money and you know how that goes. So I pulled the trigger.
One thing to note Mid west bayless will also rebuild your transmission. But you will need to ship it to them.

Transmission got to Jacksonville today but wont be delivered until Monday.I already removed the bad transmission and the bell housing. I still need to remove the shifter housing, and the reverse switch.

Finally got my tranny installed. Had a issue with the input shaft seals on the bell housing. Vick quickly sent me another seal. That one was the wrong seal. They sent me the right seal and I'm back in business. Just took it on a ten mile trip. At first the tranny was a little stiff and I started to worrie. But at the five mile mark it started shifting very smoothly. But of course when I finished installing everything the weather didn't hold up its end of the deal and it started sprinkling. So time to take a shower and enjoy the weekend.
