Having trouble with my 124. After sitting overnight it won't start. Once pour some gas down carb throat, it starts. Installed new accelerator pump diaphragm, still doesn't seem to fix it. Any ideas? seems like not enough pressure to keep fuel up to carb. Fuel filter (clear) hardly has any after sitting.
thanks

Re: Help! carb/fuel issue
Are you running a mechanical fuel pump? It's possible the diaphragm in it is weak. You may also want to make sure no hoses are leaking.

Re: Help! carb/fuel issue
there really isn't any other spot for fuel to leak from the carb except the accel pump. The cover may be warped and still causing a leak. Does the accel pump work? Does the choke close?
It doesn't matter what the filter has in it after sitting, there should be enough fuel in the carb to run for a few minutes
