Hi all.
Had the spider for a few years now. Its in great working order with just a hiccup every now and them. Pictures when I read exactly how to. I am in the Navy, so I have limited driving with it. Just a quick intro for now.

Welcome Beachboy. You are in the middle of a nice sized Fiat community, and only 8 hours away from the FLU national convention, Fiat Freakout, being held in Asheville, NC this year.

There are a few group rides in Virginia's Blue Ridge area every year. Keep looking in the Events section.
Oh yeah ... Welcome!

Bernie
Thanks for your welcome. beachboy is a misnomer. I am a navy seal and some of my best work is done on the beach, just not lying on my back soaking up the sun, if you know what I mean.
Nice to be here. I use to belong to a suzuki samari forum that we would mod up to wreck havoc.

Hi Beachboy, welcome to the forum. Tell us about your car, what year is it, is it your first Spider, how did you happen to decide to get it?

Hey Ron
This my second spider.. its a 1975 silver metallic with black interior. First spider was an 81 FI model that the sea reclaimed.
Needless to say, I can't plan on anything. Sometimes I'm given an hours notice.

Thanks Bernie, for showing me in my finest hour.
Beachboy, do you know Jim Scurria? He retired from the Navy, still lives in Norfolk/VA Beach and is an all around great guy. He has a few Fiats, including an SCCA racer. He could hook you up with what's going on in your area if you're interested.

Sorry, I don't know Jim.
After defending your country and training, I don't have much time for anything else.
