My 1979 Spider just starting
My 1979 Spider just starting
I'm doing initial sanding before primer and bondo. Then the final step will be new paint in white with red pearl and heat color changing clear.
I never properly introduced myself: My names Ryan and i'm a first time Fiat owner but i've been car crazy since i'd say about the age of four with my dads 1970 stingray corvette and all the car shows and restoring hot rods with him and his buddies. I'm ready for the many days of fun in the sun, days and nights making her new again, and going to shows and drives with other car crazy friends.
P.s.
Thanks for all the help and responses on my help posts i'm sure there will be many more as i have a lot to learn and then a lot to share with new members once i've done this for awhile

Are you loading them to a hosting site, such as Photobucket, first?

You are trying to link them from attachments... that does not work. You need to have a hosting site (flick, photobucket, etc) for the photos and then link to the location of the file using the img option here and the complete address to the photo (usually ends with .jpg or .gif, or .bmp)rmalicki wrote:Your right! dang i need to figure out what i'm doing wrong and get some pics on here. Re: My 1979 Spider just starting
Be careful of image size. Anything larger than 640x480 seems to get truncated. I just set my camera to that, it was getting to be a pain to go back through photobucket and resize so the picture would not get truncated. Your milage may vary.
Re: My 1979 Spider just starting
Photobucket has an option to automatically set your pics to 640X480 when their uploaded. Saves allot of time when your posting to a forum like this.

Cool - I must have missed that. I looked for something like that. Good info to know. I'll set my camera pics back to large and scour photobucket for the option. THanks.
Re: My 1979 Spider just starting
When your in the LATEST ACTIVITY tab look under the big blue Upload Images & Videos button. There's a link that says "Use CTRL to select multiple files (more options)". Click on the (more options) and it will open a options box where you can set the size of your uploads.

Very nice man! A few years back I helped restore a '69 stingray w/ a 350; really fun to drive. I'm lovin all the pictures!

Re: My 1979 Spider just starting
That's cool i bet that 69 stingray was a blast! My baby will take a while as the motor and trans. with side pips is about $10k so im saving while driving my fun little fiat. The vette is about $30k total investment to do it low end and to do what i want about $80k. but it's my dream car so just excited i actually own it even if just to look at and sit in and pretend like when i was four in my dads 1970 stigray.
