fuel injection and condenser

so what is the condenser on the side of the coil for if you have fuel injection and electronic ingition (i do know the systems are divided)

i know you havew a condenser for point type system, the condenser is to better saturate the coil in a point type system, but in a electronic system why would need it

I believe it is a radio noise filter. You can remove it and it should not effect the engine operation
