Getting the dwell right is more important than the gap. Dwell should be 55 deg.

Thanks guy's for the info I will check on the dwell and see what goes.
Yeah Craig it is up and going runs like a sewing machine smooth and sweet.
Had to bypass the ignition relay, but had to utilize both sets of points to get it to run
Without sputtering. So new points. How did it work out for you and your coil issue?

Glad to hear you have her running, have you driven it much? I got mine out last weekend, before the monsoons hit!I am not sure what is up with mine...checked all connections, module, mag p/u,injector plugs and it all looks good. The worse thing is it is intermittent,so sometimes I cant even make it skip.Does feel more like an electrical miss, though

Just got back from taking it around the block and it ran pretty good!
I was impressed, can't wait till I put the new points in tommorrow.
Ordered points and brake pads all around for it today and will arrive in the AM.
Is your problem under any certain conditions that it happens or is it just sporadtic?

It is sporadic, always at low rpm(below 2500 rpm),usually in 1st or 2nd gear, and with the engine cold. Its gonna be tough to find!It is a intermittent miss or skip.Very slight to where it might not bother some people...but I'm kinda anal
ps...I sent you an email re. a car
