1980 F.I. fuel line

Post by kolls »

I have searched on here and there isnt a clear answer, so i have decided to ask before i complete the interior on my car i am going to replace the fuel lines since the P.O. has pieced out parts of the fuel line and i know they are a metric size. I was wondering what size i should replace it with ? I think the closet size is 5/16 but wanted to see what others have done.

Thanks

IAP sells 7.5mm F.I. hose, it worked well for me.

replacing the hard line with FI hose would be a little expensive and a temporary fix IMHO.

I used the 5/16 FI line from the local auto parts store. Fit pretty snug with the good fuel line hose clamps.

Rubber fuel line is a great quick swap for those issues. And 5/16 should be a good size to get at your local auto parts store.
