As Manoa said Chrome will come off due to the heat of headers. NICKEL COATING is not the same as chrome. Nickel coating will last and will not come off. Now it will change colors over time to oranges and blues. Ceramic is good option as well but FAR more expensive. But to address the issue Nickel Plating will last for years and years.

As I have been trying to get the right stuff for my car and sometimes finding it difficult to get exactly what I need. I want to thank Jerry and his guys at Vicks for giving their all trying to accessorize my exhaust needs.

Doing all the little things sure do take some time. I got the steering assembly apart, media blasted, and some paint done. I can't believe how much rust can acquire on a car. Then again, I never owned a convertible before.
