Hello from the South Bay

I am looking into buying a "hill car" as I like to car these roadsters. The Fiat Spider caught my attention because it's beautiful and affordable (at least to buy).

I also have a '79 blue/white VW baywindow bus, that purrs.

If there are any owners in the South Bay or PV area with spiders, I'd love to to get together and get my wife introduced to the car so when I suprise her in June with one in the driveway, she'll at least know what it is. Partially kidding here, but I do imagine I could pull it off.

Hello Mattler, welcome to the forum.
Not sure which south bay you're in. Around here it would be Torrance or Redondo Beach. I'm guessing yours is a different south bay? Unless PV is Palos Verdes.
Good luck finding just the right Spider.

Indeed, PV here means Palos Verdes, CA. I didn't realize the forum was so international until I just checked all the newbie introductions.

All righty then! You're in SoCal. That's great. We have a get together coming up next month, and it would be an opportunity to introduce us to you, and you to us, and your wife to quite a few Spiders. Welcome Mattler! What a guy; buying (& possibly restoring) a Spider for the wife. Let us know what tickles your (FIAT Spider) fancy and I am sure we can help point you in the right direction.
