Thanks everyone! Copied this thread and will use it to troubleshoot this afternoon. Hope to report back tonight. I still have the brakes to do/redo then I promise I will post some decent pictures this week. I purchase some Rota's from Mark a couple of weeks ago and the calipers need to painted for the final touch.

Thanks again for all of your help.

Fired up and purring like a kitten!!!! Great advice from all you, and it was very helpful. Main problem was the ground on the ECM to the ignition coil. Took us a couple of hours to figure things out and we did have a little scare. once we fired op the car we noticed a nice puddle of oil starting to drip on the floor. Tuns out that those bolts were left in for a reason where the smog pump once was. Air low sensor was sticking open too, which had the car running too rich. "I had a spare that I almost was going to give up to Ron"s friend a couple of weeks ago, glad I kept it." Can't thank you guy's enough for chiming in and helping me out.

Stay tuned for pictures.

Was it the flap that was sticking? If it's not bent you can clean up the chamber and use a non oil based lubricant on the pivot point and it should be good as new.
Congratulations on getting her up and running.

Its an awesome feeling Craig. Without a doubt, given my mechanical background this was probably one of my biggest personal accomplishments. :D

I didn't look that close at it Ron. It would stick at higher RPM's. Just wanted to get the car running so I switched the part because I could. Thanks

Mark, exhaust note sounds a lot like the one you have posted. Very pleased with the end result. After reading all the threads here I was not sure what to expect. It will most likely be a while before I can take it out for a test run because of this wonderful Wisconsin weather. First trip will be to the tire shop for a front end alignment.
