is air flow meter arm bent?

Please have a look at the photo showing the air flow meter with the cover off, Day 9, Img 9.1. The engine is warmed up and idling at 1100 rpms. http://www.glocktech.net/fiat/restoration/Day%209.htm

Does anyone have a photo of their AFM with the car idling at 850?

Any advice would be appreciated.

the screw that the arrow points to is an adjustment for the potentiometer. The flap inside the housing is the part that can bend in a backfire.

Ok. I did find some pictures of the air flow meter innards on the net. And after looking at them and mine closely it doesn't look like the unit was ever tampered with. Thanks.
