New member from Sweden.

My friend that you se sometime at this forum is the “swede” and he told me to make a presentation of me and my car.

I’m living in Stockholm Sweden with my family and I am soon 58 years old.
My interest of cars started when I was a little boy and I bought my first car in 1970 and since that year I have had 21 cars and it has been a lot of repairing and rebuilding and a lot of fun thrugh the years.

My first visit to America was in 1977 with 3 friends and we travelled around most on the west coast for five weeks.
We saw a lot of nice cars and I bought me a Road Runner 383 HP from 1977 in LA, Torrance and took it back with me to Sweden. The next visit I bought me a lot of engine parts at Reath Automotive, Long Beach. I had some nice years with that car.

For a long time now I have missed the time in the garage and oil on my fingers……
Some times I've had thoughts to by me a Spider and now I have. A Spider from 1977 :D

A Swedish guy was working some years in LA and he bought it from one who worked with yachts. He brought it back to Sweden and in that time it was beige but now it is dark green again as it was from the factory.

I've allready done a lot of work with it and i love it!
My next project is to change the windscreen.

Now it has been a lot about me and I hope that you will understand my bad English.

I have already got some help from Mark Allison in LA and Stefan in Stuttgart about my Western Wheels. Thank you !

Best regards
Claes

welcome!
Don't worry at all about your english; none of us know how to use the language correctly either!

That's a sharp-looking car. I love the green.
What are you changing the windscreen for? Something different? Or repair of a broken one?
I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!

Hi,
It is nice to be a member at this forum.
And I feel welcome and it is nice that you understand me. :D
I change the windscreen because it is the original and it is very sandblast and it is probably the orginal windscreen.
No it is not overheated. Why do you asked ? :?:

Welcome Claes,

Welcome to the site and nice cars. I bet it cost a lot to ship something from afar. Sounds like you have the right contacts to help you with any questions concerning your Fiat. :P

Hi Claues, welcome to the forum. I looked for a good picture of the correct orientation of the thermostat, but couldn't find it. Mike (mbouse) has one, I'm sure he'll be back shortly with it.
