s'long as you don't have to rely on it for a daily driver, these things can be fun.

i think i've spent nearly every night tinkering with the "new" Spitwad, and i've yet to get it into the garage for any serious work.

tiz nice to know that even if i fail, i did not spend more (yet) than i can get back out by parting it.

Have fun. who knows, maybe you can learn something, have some fun doing it, and make a buck or two.

You must have wrangled a better deal. You weren't going to get it before. I think you'll find it a kick when you get it running although the front wheel drive takes some getting used to (or is it the all wheel drive model?). I've been spending my shop time on my 3 cylinder Triumph lately. I gave it some "upgrades". The carburettors still need some "stroking". ...J.D.

$1.100. the belt broke and im sure the valves r bent. but the car is really a clean 1 owner car. front wheel drive is not new 2 me. my 1st car was a c 71 spider. my 2nd was a brand new 83 gti, must of had about 5 or 6 rabbit variations in the past. i wish it was all wheel drive. but its not. will get pics later. cant really touch it yet. need 2 get my spider running 1st.

Looks just like the 97' I had [same color even]. They run almost forever if you take reasonable care of them. ...J.D.

I had to do the same on my CRX. It was a pretty simple job all in all. It was quite the hotrod when it was done.

You like the Solstice, eh? What do you think of the Saturn Sky version?

although its the same car, i prefer the pontiac by a long shot. the styling is right on. i prefer all the radised lines and lack of flashy chrome.
