I have a Facet Electric Fuel Pump in my trunk. I checked out the Facet website and the installation instructions states
" that the fuel pump should be mounted with the outlet above the inlet. Never locateed the the pump so the outlet is below the inlet. Horizontal Mopunting will not effect fuel delivery performance."
My pump is mounted with the inlet on top and outlet on the bottom. So before I go and change another PO mistake and drill new holes in my car tonight can anyone see a reason why I should not swap this or should I just leave it alone.

Re: Fuel Pump Mounting
I say you should toss it and get a better one!
A friend of mine has two classic bmw's( 1973 e9 3.0cs and 1976 2002) which he converted to electric pumps. Being on a college student's budget, he got two facet pumps(the cube one) and installed them. They both leak, they both run dry and leave him needing to coast to refill the float bowl!
Invest about 100 dollars and get a higher quality one.
