Hi Josh,
Any update on the big brake kits? How's the car doing? I purchased 15" Rota's from S0 Cal Mark. They are 4x98. I would like to get a set-up to put on a big brake kit. Are the Honda Rotors and whatever calibers the best way to go. Do you have what I need to make this happen? What items do I need? what type or brand of things is the best way to go? Sorry if my questions sound unexperienced. Still learning about this.

Brady,
Why don't you get the kits from Performance Fiats? Looks like a nice low cost option compared to the other options out there.

Sorry guys I cant bring myself to making brake parts for a car I apologize for being away from the boards for so long. Been busy attempting to get a race car together. This means the Fiat could go up for sale

Using honda brake rotors and calipers is fairly easy. I can make available the drawings for the brake adapters which allow you to use 1999 Honda Civic Si brake calipers(non ABS). The rotors required redrilling to 4X98mm. The rest was fairly straight forward. I also had to buy some banjo bolts, but that was simply a trip to napa.azygoustoyou wrote:Hi Josh,

I'd be interested in seeing these drawings as well.joshuagore wrote: Using honda brake rotors and calipers is fairly easy. Josh,
Good to hear you back on the boards again, sorry to hear you may leave the Fiat scene. If you end up selling your Fiat, please be sure to set my rear end aside. I am finally making some progress on my car and will eventually need something to attach the wheels to!

Re: Suspension/Brakes Build... Adjustable, low, raceeeee
Hi, I have a question about the front caliper springs that go between the brake pads and the caliper bracket. Our car was missing the front ones so we ordered some through Vicks. We ordered the long springs that are meant for the older ('70-78 models) but will fit on our "80. We were sent the newer "clip" type springs and can't figure out how to install these. Does anyone have pictures, or a solid explanation on how these instal? Thanks
Re: Suspension/Brakes Build... Adjustable, low, raceeeee
Thanks - those long springs on the back of the caliper bracket are what I thought I should have but Vick's sent me little round clips that they indicate are for 1980 models and later. I would rather have the springs in your photo, but if the round clip/spring works, I will use them. I just can't figure out how these work.
