Looks great! Can you clearcoat teak or oil it?

My buddy , who is an artist with wood just oiled it. This wood and oil setup is used on boats and lasts a very long time so it should outlast the car. Its solid teak, no venear here. I have plenty of room to add other gauges across this piece as needed. Currently working on another teak set up the will be a straight factory replacement set. Have different solid woods coming later for ebay.Dont need a glove box, and if I do I can always do a drop down setup like on the x 1/9. You dont see it till you need it. Also planning on eliminating the rear seat and making a shelf and storage and sub enclosure.
