From what I've heard, starting it often isn't really good unless it gets hot enough to get rid of condensation inside the engine. I think that takes a decent drive. I think oiling the cylinders or fogging oil and leaving it are better, unless you can drive it a decent distance.

Trey, If you run it till the rad. fan turns on twice, that is enough. And it doesnt take that long. Engines get hotter faster sitting still then driving around the block on a cold day. Also recirculating fluids around stops them from separating and incorporating moisture.
