Anyone out there that can give a first hand testimonial on the brake upgrade kits offered by Performance Fiat? It would be best if you actually have one installed and you don't work for PF.
Thanks,

BTW, I did find the previous thread on this and it had ONE person who recommended the PF kit. Anyone else since?

I have no personal experience. But when I read the specs on all the different kits out there, I prefered thier setup. Until someone finishes the honda version I feel its the best way to go .

I got the kit, but have yet to install it. Maybe over the Thanksgiving holiday. Not that its hard or takes a lot of time, just that I'm really busy right now.
I can tell you that the 13" kit will fit with the Fiat iron cross rims, (D 16) I have not tried to mock it up on the stock steel rims yet.
Val has been extremely nice and attentive when it comes to customer service. A few weeks after ordering the brake kit, I placed another order and he threw in an extra set of brake pads.
I'm in the same boat with spiderrey about the specs and why I chose the PF kit. There are Honda rotors out there that are damn near close to the Uno turbo rotors and may fit with the Uno calipers. Honda rotors are defiantly cheaper at $20 each compared to $80 each, but might require machine work to go from 4X100 to 4X98.

As I recall, when I read about the Honda rotors it stated that the bolt holes were on the large side and should work as is for a 4 x 98. Someone was still fabbing up the adaptors for the honda calipers though.

Re: Brake upgrade form Performance Fiat
I just received my PF brake kit yesterday. looks fantastic, better than I had anticipated! My calipers came with a gold anodized finish (limited availability I think) for that very 60's cool look. I will be installing this winter.
Fantastic service so far, everything arrived complete as far as i can tell.
Personally i liked the vented rotors with larger diameter and the production based caliper which included performance street pads. From my readings and experience with my stock setup I believe the PF set up to be very nicely thought through.
Hopefully will have a road review in the spring.
Cheers,
Jordan
