I thought that it was the actsellarator pump so I put a kit in it and it still wonts to stall when you take off and chang gears. What could it be ? and what should i check next.

Hesitation can be caused by fuel and/or ignition problems. Is this a new problem or are you just trying to get the car running for the first time?

The accelerator pump would be my first guess, but It sounds from your description like it is working. It could be a plugged primary main or secondary main jet. Does the hesitation occur beyond 1/4 throttle or only after 3/4 (when the secondary normally opens)?

If the ignition system isn't working very well, you could have a car that idles great, but cuts out once you start to put a load on the engine. Do you have electronic or point ignition? I had a bad condenser when I first tried to get my spider going that made the car do this.

you put in a carb kit, so I'd assume it's all clean.
Are you confident in the float setting?
Also; if your idle mixture is very lean, then when you come off idle and transition to partial throttle, you can get minor starvation until the main jets get flowing.
I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!

Mine was doing the exact same thing. The float bowl had debris in it,that was blocking the jet intermittently.A thorough clening and a new filter have seemed to eliminate it(knock on wood)

it could also be a plugged accelerator pump nozzle, or a leaking o-ring around the pump nozzle
