Valve adjust - source for shims?

Hey all!
I've searched and found some 'older' threads about this topic; but nothing resolved, or recent, or in MY AREA....

Where do y'all get replacement shims for your valve adjustments?

I have found a couple of on-line sources (mostly for kits) and right tnow that's not horrible, 'cuz I ain't driving the fiat in the snow anyway..... but in warmer weather, when I want to maike it a one-day project instead of one-week.... where do y'all head?

Tell me that Steve Harris Imports is not the only source? (or maybe they don't have 'em either? I know they always suck on Maserati parts)

The whole shim kit can be pricey but it saves on time and is very convenient. I got my kit from IAP. They also sell them individually: http://www.international-auto.com/
Do you have the proper valve adjusting tool? IAP may have one of those also.

If you have a shim in your hand,try going to a volvo dealership if your in a bind. The older Volvo's use the same size (dia) shims, just check with a mic. before using, I found some different from stated thickness. I have used IAP for a source as well.
