Trailing arms

Took it to a auto machine shop and they could not press the bolt out of the bushing. I have taken it to a metal shop and think he is going to drill the bolt out on this drill press. He has monsterous metal bending machines and equipment, so he'll get it done some how.

He showed me a Dayton Wire wheel that is 14" wide . IT is a 15" wheel that is 14" wide! WOW

Here are my completed bushings for both upper and lower trailing arms and panhard bar. I was able to find washers of the proper thickness to make up the differences in thickness of the upper and lower arms.

do In understand correctly then that you were able to rebuild the ends of both Upper and Lower trailing arms, as well as the panhard, using the same Energy Suspension bushing?

I'm in desperate need of doing this on my car, and it looks like you may have already done all the hard work in the research?

Yes I used the same poly bushings for the 3 different bars. You must know that I am a machinist so making all my own bushings was easy for me, not necessarily for someone else. I made the bushings with.030" to .040" squeeze on the poly before I swaged the first washer with a 3/4" ball. Anyone trying this needs to find the washers first in order to make the bushings to fit the mounting locations, which vary from car to car depending on how hard they have been tightened. I had to straighten mine to make them the same.

At the racetrack, I used to boast that I could build ANYTHING, with a sawzall and a peanut-grinder.... but machining is not something I've ever been able to do in my garage.
