Welcome to the forum! We are willing and eager to help you with your Italian steed and there may be members specifically from the Nashville area, but just in case some miss it in Introduction, you may want to post this in the engine section along with the year model and any other info you can provide. Good luck getting your car on the road and make sure you post pics as soon as you can! We love to see pics of everyone's ride. :D

Hi there, and welcome to the forum. What year is your new car? If you're lucky, it's a fuel injected model, and getting it to run will be a snap. (I better duck and cover to avoid the flak that's coming my way.)

guys its a 1977 fiat 124 spider 1800 and it has a carburated engine i havent got to dig into it just yet as i havent picked it up yet. Also the brake resorvoir is dry, any ideas about this. The car was a trade in years ago at a local dealer and has sat in their storage since.

well, lots of reasons, and lots of opportunities.

empty reservoir could mean lots of things, but most certainly a leak. rubber hoses need replaced, and i bet the steel lines are shot as well. how long has the car been sitting?
