Hi! I'm a new user. I am having difficulty with the driver's side power window regulator. The window was not working and was stuck in the up position. I removed the regulator and found 1 of the nuts that secures the motor to the regulator was missing and the cable had winded over it's self. The problem I am having is keeping the cable wound on the drum while installing the regulator assembly. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, John

Re: Power windows
Welcome to the forum, Splash. I've never seen the electric window setup so I doubt I'd be able to help you. Maybe someone will come along soon that can help. I'm wondering if it's similar to the manual setup.

Re: Power windows
It is the same set up but, the cable goes around 4 pulleys insead of 3. I have a new problem though. Wile messing around with the regulator I found that regulator gets stuck in a certain spot. So it looks like I need a new regulator. If any one has any idea where I can locate one I would be greatful.
