Yeah it is. I would suggest getting the painters paper there. It's like an olive color and it's easier to work with. I had this stuff left over from a flooring job.

I finally cleaned up the rest. Time for primer. Getting prepared for the winter.

That sandblaster is nice. I'm currently hacking my car up with wire wheels on my drill. I'd love to use your technique.

You can get one for about $130.00 and $10 a bag of media, 50 lb size. If you have a lot to clean up. It pays for itself. I use a swimming pool skimmer to filter the media before I put it back into the blaster. Make a small box and put a tarp down. It goes a long way. Buy medium grit. It eventually turns to a fine grit. I did anything that was metal and had rust. You do need a good air compressor or you'll be there forever.

Boy I tell you. One of the most rusted places on these cars would be inside the seats. I think that if anyone is going to have their seats done. They should take them apart and fix the springs and such. You wouldn't believe how much rust is in them. I bet you the person recovering them doesn't do it. I finally got mine done.

Brady you are going to have the cleanest, most rust free Spider on the planet. Even the springs on your seats look great. What did you use to prime and paint them with? Looks like a tedious job. How long did it take?

I just showed them a little love. I got about four hours into them not counting the time to take them apart. Now I have to clean the cushions.

Do you think it will work Just going to try to pick some of the rust off. I wonder if it would ruin the cushion to rub some etch on the rust. I might try it on a spare cushion.
