We'll the good news is I deffinately have a knck with tools. I've changed the fuel pump twice and also changed the water pump and collant hoses. So thats 's the good thing. The bad is i've never changed brakes before. They are pretty old, don't know how old but pretty old. There is a lot of rust on them, etc. I will also need to change one of the other rubber break lines that connect from the metal hoses to the actual brakes on the car. Three are new but for some odd reason they didnt change one and it's all cracked.
Hopefully, you can show me somewhere I can find the info how to do this the easiest way. Also, where is the best place to buy the parts for this. I have used some places for parts in the past that were pretty decent but i'm always wondering where other people get their stuff from. What do you think this should cost about?

Hi,
I too am on my third fuel pump. Try putting in a NAPAGold # 3299 fuel filter between the gas tank and the fuel pump. I was told to do this after my first fuel pump went bad. Did I listen? Nope. Second fuel pump went after about 4 months. Pricey little devils. Now I have the pre-filter and am looking for a new gas tank. Welcome to the site. We have a small group of Fiat owners here in central NJ. Sort of a mutual support group. Feel free to call on us for support. George

George,
Doesn't Ralph still have the one out of the black car? I helped him take the last bolts out. It looked pretty nice inside.

I used the same NAPA filter on mine as a pre filter and so far over a year later and no problems. It's good to see some Fiat owners closer to me in NJ!
